K W SM understands that education can be the catalyst needed to pull families and communities out of the cycle of poverty. Knowledge gives children the power to dream of a better future and the confidence needed to pursue a full education, which in turn will help generations to come. In order to do this K W Stephens Ministries is ensuring that the kids have everything they need for the school year because it helps them feel a part of the learing environment and willing to learn. A new backpack is a boost to a childs self esteem because it starts with looking the part.                           

We help build strong families  and  also understand that education is pathway out of poverty.

Project Waco backpack is an initiative in Waco by KWSM,  We put together backpacks full of needed school supplies for kids who couldn't otherwise afford them. Our desired items list includes basics like folders, spiral notebooks, filler paper, pencils, and more non-expensive supplies. We also accept online donations through our website so even if you can't drop the items at the locations, you can still help out!
